★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Achar ghost was wonderful. After 10 days in Mexico it was nice to have a good curry. Good portion size but you must order the rice separately but this is a common practice stateside as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just left Al Meraj after waiting for more than an hour for a to-go order. Never received the food, yet they brought the check so we could pay. When we asked where the food was, we were told it was almost ready, and even though we were ready to pay expecting the food to come out soon after, they never even brought the credit card terminal. When we started to stand up to leave, a couple that entered after us was leaving and they had already eaten their entire meal AND paid for it while we had nothing. They were just as shocked as we were to see us still sitting there waiting. And they said it wasn’t worth it anyway. So we left. Horrible service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most authentic food in Guadalajara. My fav is chicken acharati, mutton handi. Mutton paneer achari. Gulab jamun are good in size . Overall it’s a genuine price and good test food place. Highly recommended at first place for Indian food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al Meraj is an open air restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the samosas, a lental dish, a mixed vegetable dish and a lemon mineral drink. The food was very tasty and made to your level of spiciness. I will definitely visit Al Meraj again.
