Alamo Rent A Car - 77500 Cancún

When planning our Mexico trip renting a car gave me headaches as no one had good reviews or recommendations. Let me tell you: Do yourself a favor and book with Alamo. Everyone spoke very good english, was lovely and friendly and much helpful. The girl at the counter in the airport was very kind and got us on the shuttle in no time. I recommend you book directly via your local Alamo website. We got there and were upgraded to a small suv with no extra charge. The car was brand new. It took about 15 minutes and we were good to go. Returning the car was even more smooth. We dropped it off, they took a look and checked us out. Two days later we had the deposit back in the account. Cant recommend it enough it was an absolute pleasant experience.

Excellent service from start to finish. From the desk at the airport to the shuttle service, to the people at the actual rentle desk and doing the hand over. All excellent. We hired a Nissan Maxima (think that was it) but actually got a Nissan Kicks which was a definite upgrade. What a great car. Shame they don't make them in the UK. Great condition, was only 2 yrs old and we clocked up over a 1000km without issue. We had the option to return it full or empty. We opted for full as there's a petrol station literally opposite the Alamo office. The people couldn't be nicer or more professional. Even the guys checking over and doing the handover at the end. We bought the upgraded insurance package when we booked it online, not the most complete one but not the standard. There was no hard sell to upgrade at the office when we collected the car. All in all I couldn't recommend them more highly. Brilliant service!

Provided our group with 2 cars well maintained during our trip. Checking in at the airport with Virginia was easy and we felt safe as she guided us through the crowd to the shuttle to go to Alamo car rental. There we met Jorge who was very thorough and patient. Very friendly start to our trip by Virginia and Jorge! Thank you!

So far so good. We will see about when I return it if I get a hassle. The car itself is about 67k and looks like it's maintained. I love the car. Wish the usa doesn't put cvt in these. This tyranny is far superior @nissan

The car battery died twice. We were able to have friendly local people help 1st and National Guard helped 2nd. I called Alamo at 1030 and within the hour a very nice young man named Gerardo came with a replacement car for my family. Great full to the team at Alamo for helping our trip be more worry free. God bless them and their families.

Had a really wonderful car rental experience here. I booked a car online at Hertz. They made me wait 1.5 hours only to tell me (at 11:30 pm at night) that they "ran out of cars" and to come back tomorrow (no thanks...). On a whim, my wife and I went to Alamo - they were super helpful, didn't make us wait at all, explained everything to us clearly, and even added the "second driver" option for free. The return was just as simple and uncomplicated. An easy 5 stars.

I was really nervous about hiring a car at Cancun Airport reading the horror stories. I chose Alamo through Rental Cars as it had the best reviews and I can really recommend them. I had no issues and it was a great hire experience. I had purchased my own insurance and while they did offer the additional insurance at the desk, there was no pressure when I declined. The car was immaculate and at the collection inspection the guys doing the inspection were meticulous and pointed out a pre existing long scratch that I had not even noticed. No issues with the car and when we returned it absolutely no quibbles on damage and my holding deposit was swiftly returned. Really nice people, very smooth and I can really recommend them. I read some absolute horror stories about other car hire companies at Cancun but Alamo were really great and it was just a breeze.really recommended.

I’ve never rented a car in a foreign country before but Alamo, Roxana, and team could not have made it easier. My wife’s and I place arrive a little late and getting out luggage from the airport took longer than expected but as soon as we were leaving with our luggage we were met by an Alamo representative that guided us though the airport on to our shuttle to go pick up our car. The team was nothing short than efficient and quick to getting us our vehicle and suggested just in case to take a full video of the rented vehicle for insurance purpose. After we were done with our trip, very much the same routine where the team was able to check us out and drive us to the airport. I highly suggest renting from Alamo and thank the team very much for being simple the best. Thank you Roxana and team!
