★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived to the counter with my reservation number in hand. The first words out of the representatives mouth were, we will not give you a car if you don’t pay the additional 2,900 pesos in insurance. I had already paid 1,350 pesos for insurance. That would bring my grand total to 8,600 pesos for 5 days.
The representative could not provide any documentation to backup this “claim” while continuously demands the money. I then ask, what happens if I pay this money? She responds, “well we don’t have a car for you anyway.”
In summary, she never had the car but was demanding “additional insurance” upfront.
I went to Hertz and was treated very well. 4,100 pesos for 5 days in an SUV, insurance included.
I would avoid this Alamo at all costs. Go with Hertz!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very dishonest organization of pure lies. We go to the counter booking the reservation directly from their website. The lady claimed she would need a $2,500 USD or 50,000 MXN peso deposit for the car. Mind you we already paid for the insurance and the rental, but they don’t care.
Avoid this place like the plague.
