★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst rental company ever. Payed 414€ extra because I did not bring a broken car (No accident it was a transmission failure. I did not do anything wrong) back to the return location on the contract. Even though an Alamo employee told me I can tow it to the nearest Alamo office.
So all in all, I payed a tow truck for a damage I did not cause. + Alamo charged me a horribly high amount for taking a car that did not move back to the nearest office.
Save yourself the trouble and book with a well known company. I warned you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever! The agents literally rob me and forced me to pay for extra services that I didn't need in order to get my rental. When I asked for proof, they couldn't provide legitimate policies. I was told that the full insurance was mandatory it order to receive my rental. They then went on to say that expedia made the error. I told them I had completed all the check-in process on Alamo.com. i was then given a care without a full tank, and the car didn't even have hubcaps!!! I will never use this location again! It really should be shut down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place to rent a car. We made paid reservation a vehicle for 9 am it's been exactly two hours and they say there are not cars available at the moment. They only have one person who does both contract and delivering the car. So it takes more than 45 minutes with each client. Do not rent here. Don't waste your time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have reserved a car via a third party website with full coverage insurance. When we arrived at Alamo they told us that the car had only a basic insurance and had to pay for additional insurance against accidents (although we had already paid for it). We have also received the car 90 minutes late. I cannot recommend ALAMO at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was ok. Very slow but employees were nice however BE CAREFUL with your payment methods. I have a credit card that I only use to pay for car rentals since they don't accept debit. I used the card in my trip ONCE (hadn't used the card in more than a year before this trip) and it was to rent a car here, few weeks later my card seems to have been cloned and I am getting alerts that the card is trying to be used to pay somewhere. Fortunately I turn off my card when I don't use it. BE CAREFUL

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst places around here. Maria Antonieta is a racist person, and we have been renting always ALAMO in different countries with a great record, and in Cancun too. She told us excuses that don’t make sense, After having everything reserved and paid, she decided to not rent us a car , and ruin all our plans . Be careful world, you might get your day ruin in this place .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading the reviews I got a bit scared, but we had the BEST experience. By pick up there was some trouble with my creditcard, the women was super helpful and patient. We had a upgrade (Nissan Altima), and we drove around Mexico for 7 weeks. During our trip we stayed in contact with Michelle from Alamo and she guided us trough difficulty's. When we where in Mazunte, our car didn't react, so in 1 hour there was someone from Alamo to help us, so we could move on again. Its important to share also the good reviews, because this service was OUTSTANDING. Thank you Michelle and Alamo team.
