El Museo Nacional de Antropología e historia por su parte se ubica en Polanco y se exhibe la vida de México precolombino, con piezas históricas rescatadas de la cultura mexica.

Terrible servicio, por favor, eviten acudir a este lugar.
Teníamos reservación a las 10 de la noche, arribamos al lugar a las 8 de la noche y la persona encargada nos indicó que nos entregarían la unidad solo hasta la hora de nuestra reservación. Así que esperamos un par de horas solo para que al final resultara que no tenían unidades. Comprendemos que eso puede ocurrir, sin embargo, la actitud de la encargada fue penosa, ella sabe que no cuentan con suficientes unidades y aún así no fue honesta y nos hizo esperar, cuando se le cuestionó al respecto, su respuesta fue que en ese momento éramos libres de acudir a otros locales para conseguir otro auto. Estamos muy descepcionados por la falta de compromiso de la empresa. Esperamos que mejoren su servicio en mostrador.

We had a reservation at 10 at night, we arrived at the place at 8 at night and the person in charge told us that they would deliver the unit only until the time of our reservation. So we waited a couple of hours only for it to turn out they had no drives. We understand that this can happen, however, the attitude of the manager was painful, she knows that they do not have enough units and even so she was not honest and made us wait, when she was questioned about it, her answer was that at that time we were free to go to other places to get another car. We are very disappointed by the lack of commitment from the company. We hope they improve their counter service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst car rental company ever. I payed for a tow truck and Alamo charged me 414€ = 10.000 Pesos extra because I didn't bring the broken car back to the official return location. Instead I towed it as discussed to the nearest Alamo office.
I had a transmission failure on the highway. My car did not move anymore. Instead of helping me - a foreign guy with zero to none Spanish knowledge - Alamo insisted on their contract that I did not book road assistence. So I had to organize and pay my own tow truck. Now wait for it. With Alamo employees I discussed to bring the broken car to the closest Alamo office. 5 days before my normal rent end they took the car and did not give me any final contract closure nor official status about what is wrong with the car. I left empty handed. And now comes the worst part. Later that day they charged me 10.000 pesos = 414€ because I did not bring the broken car (It did not move which was not my fault by the way. It was an automatic transmission failure) to the listed return office in my contract. 414€ because I payed to move a broken car to the nearest office. The worst company. Never ever rent with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a rental car for two days and arrived on time to the location. I was told on arrival that I needed to have two forms of ID such as license and passport. I unfortunately did not have it but informed the lady behind the counter that we’d be right back. She continued to point out that our reservation could be cancelled if we arrived after 12am which only was 1 hour and half after our pick up time and from what I read online it states that there is a tolerance of 6 hours after the pick up time if the reservation was prepaid which in our case it was. This lady had a attitude from the start. A individual in my party pointed it out and we proceeded to leave. On arrival after bringing the needed documentation the same lady was running out upon seeing us and a different lady attended us. She proceeded to mention that her colleague sent out a email to Alamo to have our reservation canceled because we were in a inconvenience attitude. She waited for us to leave and cancel our booking and waste our time and plans and decides to leave upon seeing us to not deal with our “inconvenience” from all the places I’ve rented this has got to be the worst by far. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a car rental online for an emergency. They don't have a computer so the person takes pictures of your documents with her personal phone. Then they refused to deliver the vehicle because my passport was from Mexico and my license was not. Expensive and useless. Onto report them to PROFECO. I say rent outside the airport instead.
