So, we were at the Wyndham hotel. After this salesman from the reception approached me, I told him that I have a better offer for the Isla Mujeres tour(55$ Per person). He said to me that with their price (116$) you get better service, better boat and all included with food and drinks. When we get to the boat, people were laughing at us, when they heard, how much we have paid for this thing. Because they have paid much cheaper and they had the same service as we. Don't go with these clowns, they will lie to you. Just book it online or at some people on the streets that will charge you for less than , at least 70$.

My friend and I did the catamaran yesterday and had a blast! Charlie (tour guide), Paola (paparazzi), Luis, and the rest or the crew were great hosts- fun, friendly, and professional. From start to finish, the team worked smoothly together to keep us safe. You can expect Instagram worthy cocktails and high energy music (think Taki Taki, Despacito, etc) on the boat, with a stop at the reef for optional snorkeling. The first stop is the beach club for 3 hours. Lunch is provided, and the open bar continues. The beach itself is pretty small, but pretty. Second stop is an hour at a small but gorgeous beach. There is a big store for souvenirs. Pro Tips: - Bring water shoes if you want to swim at this beach club- it feels muddy in places. No need for water shoes at the second beach- it’s perfect white sand . -Reapply sunscreen often! (Note: Only certain sunscreens are allowed and they’ll help you the Marina prior to boarding. This is to protect the reef. I had Bare Minerals and Neutrogena, and the latter had ingredients that weren’t allowed. Beach Bum brand should also work.) - The tour guide will offer a golf cart exploration of the island on the first stop. It’s $35 and was a highlight of the day! Charlie and Luis took us to a breathtaking spot and Charlie shared the history and significance. If you stay at the beach club, there are many loungers and you can buy a massage on the beach. - The people working in the stores and tequila stands are very excited for you to try free samples of tequila. If I were to go again, I would avoid them. - Paola is a great photographer! She tells you how to pose for flattering pictures. Book this tour for a fun adventure! You’ll be glad you did.

Cannot say enough good things. We sailed platinum on the “Carpe Diem”. Our crew was amazing. Vanessa and crew did a fantastic job. We danced, drank, sang, snorkeled, ate and rode golf carts around Isla Mujeres. A must do with a great company! Can’t wait to take another trip!

After reading some of these reviews I’m shocked, as myself and best friend cannot say enough good things about this excursion! We sailed platinum on the boat Carpe Diem. Our staff was incredibly kind and friendly, especially Lily who easily became our new friend. She went above and beyond to provide great music, great drinks, and was the best tour guide we could have ever asked for. We left on time, our boat had just the right amount of people to make us feel comfortable, and each one of us we’re taken care of equally. The staff really did want to make sure we had everything we needed. The snorkeling was average but still got to see lots of cool fish, and the guide was very good at making sure we all stayed together. My friend and I both didn’t have much to do around town, as we weren’t really interested in shopping, but we were given an hour to explore so we found a lovely ice cream shop and sat for a while before heading back. I found the buffet at the beach club to have good food, although not many vegetarian options for my friend, then again we expected as much. The golf carting experience was lots of fun, and we felt very blessed to have Lily in our cart with us, as she had lots of fun info about the island. Our favorite part was on the way back when they anchored the boat and let us jump off and swim in the ocean! Thank again to Lily for getting a great video of us jumping. The spinnaker experience was talked about lots at the dock, but once we were on the boat no one mentioned it again, which seems to be a common theme in these reviews. Both my friend and I aren’t upset about it though as we found the rest of the day and activities to be well worth our money. Overall, we had such a great time, and met some pretty amazing people and staff who we will remember for a lifetime. And I just have to mention Lily again because she was so great to us all!!!

Honestly, at first I was a little nervous about the catamaran booze cruise due to some of the reviews but honestly this trip was really fun. The food was actually better than expected, but was more or less decent. There’s also another grill spot to eat at if you want to pay extra. On the boat, the free drinks weren’t as bad as people said. If the drinks weren’t strong enough you could ask for it to be stronger. However, people fail to realize this is a 7 hour day trip. do you really want to be on the beach, a hot boat and snorkeling all while being drunk? We were told that we could parasail by the booking company too but the boat we had didn’t have it. All in all the crew was safe, professional and very accommodating. The scenery and the views were amazing. The first beach was ok but couLd be fun if you make it. There was volleyball in the water and a few hammocks. The golf carts were fun and for $35 it wasn’t bad. It’s a small tour but a fun part of the experience. The north side of the island has a better beach but it’s hectic and packed with people. Walking on the street is a hounding vendor experience but it’s all a part of the experience. All in all, just have fun and enjoy. It’s not adults only and we had all age ranges but it didn’t hamper the fun. People of all ages were snorkeling and partying.

Such a fun excursion!! We opted for the all adult which was only $20 more p/p. That included all alcohol/drinks on the catamaran, and all food and alcohol on the beach. It was 7hrs total. The crew was amazing. They came to you offering water and drinks. Yvette was the "social butterfly" she kept great music going and entertained the whole crowd. Lots of "adult" dancing. So if you're the jealous type, it could be a problem, lol. Overall a super, fun party experience.

Also shocked with the reviews here. We had the best time ever!!! I did go to the the BD sales representative in my hotel and asked for the luxury alabatros catamaran tour for which they charged me US $90 + $15 optional for transport. When we got to the marina to start the tour, they tried upselling me to the luxury boat (extra US $40/pax) which I thought I already had, i refused so that was a disappointment at first. HOWEVER, I was traveling with my wife, baby and mother in law. So when we saw the other luxury catamarans sailig with loads of party people, we were happy we stayed with the basic tour. Important note, the basic catamaran had plenty of room on the boat (also covered in case of rain); whereas the luxury ones had limited "flat" room on the boat (I.e. people we sitting on the sunroof, etc) which is fine for party people buy not for us with a baby. Let's get to the point. BETO and his team were amazing, thoughtful, entertaining and pleasant. Snorkel was a promised, 20 minutes with lifevest (no diving). Beach club was private enough for us, although there was club music booming (not an issue for us). Beach club drinks were ok, food was good. Golf cart tour is extra US $40 per people and well worth the money. Short amount of time at the second beach (North Point) but not bad enough that it ruined our day, still pleasant. Beto and his team sure knew how to pump us on the way back, offered us tequila shots, not a bad thing to say about them. Great experience!

Pretty good! Even in poor water conditions they still make sailing fun with music and beach time. If you want the best experience I would recommend the upgrade that they offer if they have enough space for people. Beach is fantastic. I just wish they gave you some more time for shopping. Very safe trip and fun!
