The rooms where infested with insects. Our group of 35 women had to buy bug repellent. Why was the room not fumigated before arrival?. We stayed 4 nights and learned that we needed to ask front desk for TP, to have the room cleaned and to have it fumigated. It's not just mosquitoes , it's lizards frogs, cockroaches and more. The showers don't lock properly and maintenance man accidentally opened doors while we showered. We learned that the owner of the property is the same as the tour guide. Everything is an hour and a half away. They should warn tours that there is no pest control and to expect a camping experience not a room experience

The place is stunning. The bohias are nicely placed alongside and just up from the river. The river itself is beautiful too. Inside, the bohias were clean and tidy. A powerful fan was greatly appreciated. Food was good and we were really well looked after by the chef Elia she was fantastic. She made us feel very much at home. The reason I give 4 and not 5 star are that the staff in reception though friendly and attentive weren't very helpful with regards organising tours for us. I guess it was low season with high water levels but we found a guide externally who got us to the places we wanted to go. They missed out but we didn't:) Maybe would be good to have bug nets around the beds too. If in the area again I'd definitely come back. Thanks
