★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was excited to visit as I watched the Mexico life episode with the owners of this shop in it. They, of course weren't there and probably aren't very often anymore.
As with other reviews, the selection is great. BUT, don't expect to be greeted, have any discussion or friendliness by the woman working there. She spoke no Spanish and was not friendly or happy to help at all. The only thing she said to us was Hello, good bye, and 260 (my total for purchase). Oh, and "you can take a bookmark".
Don't recommend. Big letdown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great shop in an awesome town. Owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Excellent selection of English and Spanish books as well as some interesting souvenir options. Will return every time I visit this little piece of paradise in Mexico.

This bookstore is very well kept and you can find books in diverse topics and languages. There's new and used books at a good price. The lady who was there was so kind and funny, that you feel more than welcome and she gave very good assistance to all the inventory of the store. It is very pleasant to go to this store, have a little chat and buy a good book to read all along your trip! Thanks again!
