★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You pay by the weight of your seafood they never tell what the weight is or the price per kilo, they bring out the biggest they have and say this is what we have. My wife and I had 2 fish and a lobster tail and the bill was $360, very expensive dinner for 2 people. This is just another place that takes advantage of tourists just like all the shops in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far the worst experience of any restaurant I have ever had in Cancun. I have been coming here for 40 years. Outside they give you a drink coupon. After seating you, the hostess says I will take your drink card.and the waiter will take your drink order. He comes takes your drink order . The drinks had minimal alcohol in them & neither of us drank even a third of them. “Oh well ” it’s complimentary. NOT!!! When the bill came, the drinks were charged. The waiter said oh I am sorry I never saw the drink card!
Scam
The Caesar salad dressing was only thick mayonnaise with grated cheese. Lettuce & croutons were fresh. Seared Tuna was doused in a thick “soy ginger” sauce with a horrific gelatinous texture & taste.
Tip was added in without asking. Manager was not receptive to concern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, very friendly staff, The food is Mediocre. Was hoping for better flavors for lobster and steak. The drinks were good. If you are up for a drink and a pleasant peaceful view this is your spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here on a stormy night looking for a good meal not far from our hotel. Before we got here, a man stopped us outside and gave us a coupon for a welcome drink. We chose margaritas and they were delicious.
Service was excellent right from the start. Our server, Vicente, and his assistant Josefina, were attentive. Vicente shared good info about the menu items we were considering. We ended up having Caesar salad with shrimp, a tuna steak, sea bass, and Bailey’s coffees for dessert.
The food, service, and atmosphere here are excellent. Highly recommend for a nice night out in Cancun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience at Almadía! They started us off with a free piña colada, and we ordered a crab cake as an appetizer (pictured). The crab cake was full of crab meat and did not disappoint.
For my meal I had the skirt steak cooked medium (I asked for it on the rare side) with mashed potatoes(pictured). It was very tender and full of flavor!
A very good meal for $30-$40 per person.
