★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very disappointing. The atmosphere/ambiance is wonderful - but for two of our 3 meals, the food was NOT good (raw salmon and rubbery pulpo). The pasta dish was tasty but very small serving. There are so many good restaurants in Progreso, but in our experience, this is not one of them. Overprices and entirely underwhelming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience here. Lazaro was our server and provided amazing service and spoke fluent English and Spanish. Was also very helpful in giving us info about places to go in the city. The whole service staff was outstanding. And the food, OMG was awesome. The beef broth soup is a must and the menu description does not do it justice. Broth is stewed and strained (likely for a long period) then you get to pick the ingredients you want to add table side (if you like spicy add lots of habanero). It is like eating a liquid high quality steak. The lobster was also super yummy. We will be back for sure. You can’t go wrong here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from this restaurant is spectacular. They had good covid protocols in place and we were sat very quickly. The meal was prepared very quickly as well. It was delicious...I had the Recova shrimps and my partner had chicken with mustard. The service was good and an all-around good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, nice location, average service.
While the place is quite famous here, it didn’t add much value in relation to a great food food experiences.
The waiters are mostly unprofessional and don’t even know their own food.
While the taste of our main dish with salmon was good, the tiramisu has been a disaster.
In comparison with the price, I can’t really recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had breakfast and the service from the waiters were excellent very kind and servicial. The food was great, I ate Benedict eggs which were delicious the only problem was that the eggs were not actually poached as described in the menu but boiled... this was a thumbs down . They could have the furniture cleaned as it starts to look a bit dirty. But overall, great place and what makes it special and so far my favourite is that you can use their dressing room and showers for free if you go swimming at the beach that it's just in front of the restaurant ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic meal last night for a special occassion. Everything was delivered as a highed restaurant should. Including:
- researing us due to wind
- impeccable service
- every dish we ordered excellent
- ceasar salad was huge - shared amoungst the 4 as an appitizer
- guacamole loaded with small sized shrimp, perfectly cooked, also big enough to share.
- clam chowder rich, creamy and an excellent clam flavor.
- grilled salmon perfect
- skirt steak perfect
- Fish on a bed of rissoto, perfect.
- complementary Leche Flan for dessert, excellent - not too sweet.
- tiramisu was frozen, tasted good, but the freezing took away from it's creamy richness.
All in all a spectacular anniversary dinner.
