★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una barra de café, con buen gusto propuesta que interesante, sobre todo que explota distintas formas de hacer las bebidas.
Si andas por el mercado de portales haciendo tus compras para la semana y estas acalorado o quieres descansar un momento este es un lugar ideal, su pan recién horneado y sus selecciones de bebidas te harán tener una plática bastante agusto, con tus amigos, padres o vecinos.
Recomendable para pasar a refrescarte en tus compras, la zona no es la mejor por lo que no es para nada recomendable primeras citas o para quedar de verte para hacer algo después.
Por la propuesta de bebidas, la infusión de cascaras, te volará los sesos.
Por esto es un lugar increíble. Saludos y provecho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El barista súper pro y amabilísimo. Probé su cold brew en una tarde calurosa y fue un oasis completo, Justo como la sucursal misma: un oasis en medio del ajetreo del mercadito de cerca en un sábado.
The super pro and very friendly barista. I tried its cold brew on a hot afternoon and it was a complete oasis, just like the branch itself: an oasis in the middle of the busy market nearby on a Saturday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se trata de un lugar compacto, pero de distribución adecuada, que en situaciones donde no hay mucha gente invita a quedarse a disfrutar un café.
Existe un gran respeto al café, desde la selección del grano, su tostado, molienda y por supuesto la preparación. Ofrecen las bebidas clásicas preparadas a base de expreso y además métodos menos comunes como el Eva Solo, Chemex y Cave R.
Dentro de las bebidas frías destaca el cold brew y la cerveza de jengibre.
Los precios son adecuados para la calidad que brindan. Se trata de una experiencia única en la zona.
Ampliamente recomendado.

Solo hay dos sillas en el lugar, el menú tiene solo 3 bebidas, la atención es lenta pues solo hay una persona atendiendo y de las 3
diferentes personas q he visto, solo una es medianamente amigable y amable. Si hay una persona antes que tú, prepárate para esperar 20 mins.
Los precios son muy caros para un vasito de americano o "café de método" aunque la CALIDAD es innegable, son productos de muy alta calidad tanto las bebidas como los panes, los cuales también son caros pero DELICIOSOS.
It's a good place, but I think they have more cons than pros...
There are only two chairs in the place, the menu has only 3 drinks, the attention is slow because there is only one person attending and of the 3
different people I have seen, only one is moderately friendly and kind. If there is a person before you, be prepared to wait 20 mins.
The prices are very expensive for a cup of Americano or "method coffee" although the QUALITY is undeniable, both the drinks and the breads are very high quality products, which are also expensive but DELICIOUS.

Por cierto, no tienen que dar cátedra del café ni ser pretenciosos, necesitan ser amables u ser atentos.
I lowered the rating because on my last few visits I've had to yell at the clerk to come out and serve me. I have even seen how several clients leave because no one comes out to serve them. What does it cost them to put jna bell?
By the way, they don't have to teach coffee or be pretentious, they need to be friendly and attentive.

El local es pequeño pero siempre tienen cafés de diferentes regiones y pan.
Vale la pena ir si te interesa conocer métodos de extracción y probar el café como debe tomarse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. I haven't visited this location in particular, placed in the heart of a very very popular neighborhood so I was really curious about it. If you feel adventurous visit Mercado Portales and the particular antiques and collectibles street market on saturdays, just three blocks from Almanegra. Four stars just because location's not pretty at all.
