Incredible cuisine. The service, ambience, and food were phenomenal. I tried the cow tongue en tomatillo sauce and it was exquisite! Salsas were also delicious. Drinks were well thought and overall everything made for a perfect dining experience. Be prepared to spend about $50 USD per person. Well worth it and significant cheaper than fine dining in the US.

Quite an elevated dining experience like you are in one or two Michigan-star restaurants. There is nothing like it in Puerto Escondido. I highly recommend you visit if you’re into this kind of restaurant experience. In order not to be disappointed please lower your expectations there are a few things that fall short of the world's best restaurants.

Excellent! The fish with the Chimichurri was my favorite. Also the grilled oysters ? were divine. We will definitely return.

Tasting menu was amazing. Highlights: Creme brulee with foie gras, daily catch with oysters, piglet. Accompanying drinks are also recommended, especially Mexican sake.

The three of us had the tasting menu and agreed some dishes were better than others. Our favorite hands-down was the pana puri-inspired blue corn puff stuffed with green chorizo and beans. The ceviche was similarly amazing and my friend’s top top favorite was actually the fish and shrimp tostada. The mini tamal was nice but forgettable. Same with the beets and cheese inside the oja de santa leaf. The fish and mussel with dill sauce was just that. The pork confit was dry and the bean sauce didn’t have any of the oja santa flavor. The chocolate tamal was okay but a bit forgettable, and one of the raspberries they’d used to garnish it had already gone off. The chocolate passionfruit truffle was nice. The “pre-dessert” really disappointed me since I had stated when booking that I was gluten-free and couldn’t eat wheat. They asked again when we were seated for dinner. And then the waitress checked with the chefs when we ordered. YET I was served sourdough bread with smoked cheese and honey for the “pre-dessert”. The waitress apologized but didn’t offer a replacement or offer to take away the dish, she just left it and served other tables. I ended up giving the course to my friends. As a dish, the opinion is that the smoked cheese overpowered the honey and even though the bread was soaked in the honey they couldn’t taste any of the almoraduz, which was disappointing as it is the restaurant’s namesake. Overall it was fine, and service was excellent, but for London prices in Oaxaca, not worth it.

I would give this place even 10 stars if possible. Excellent food, excellent service and some of the best food presentation I’ve seen. We ordered the cauliflower risotto without pork which was delicious. My friend got the catch of the day, with potato risotto and tacos which was also great. The ceviche was amazing too. My cocktail came in a bowl like cup, quite unique but fun experience to drink out of it. We paid $65 (USD) for 2. Great price for one of the most delicious Mexican meals I’ve had so far.

Probably one of the best culinary experiences in Puerto Escondido. Feels like this place positions itself as a Michelin star kind of establishment with presentation, service and taste to match. We tried few dishes and some of them were excellent but others left more to be desired. Grilled oysters and black risotto were excellent but the crème brûlée foie gras was underwhelming. Tuna tostada was just good, not great. Still, I’d probably recommend coming here if you’re in the area — it’s a great overall experience

Hands down the best meal I've had in Mexico. Certainly the best on the Oaxacan coast. Beautiful tasting menu which takes you all around Oaxaca and the service/presentation are incredible. Michelin worthy.
