Had some A+ dives and the owner and staff went out of their way to give us a great experience. 4$ pp taxi ride from the ship. (10min) EZ. Dive a quarter mile off shore and come back between dives. So if there's chop you get a nice break on land.

Amazing service. My girlfriend was a bit stressed because the last dive was more than 1 year and half ago but Daniela was perfect and she was able to calm down her. The five spot was really nice. Thank you for all. I recommend it!! See you next time

Alex and our divemaster Siri provided top notch service for our afternoon of dives in Mahahual. We came through on a cruise and they were very flexible in accommodating for our arrival time, it was a very small group boat dive which was perfect for us. Alex even spotted me a few pesos for cab fare when we realized we forgot our debit cards - great guy and he runs a very professional operation. Thanks!

We just did a two tank dive with Chris as our dive master in January 2022. We had a fantastic time. These folks are very professional and we felt well cared for. The reef is amazing.

This place was truly exceptional. The attention from staff could not have been better. They were obviously seasoned professionals able to quickly assess skill level and adapt to make sure i was comfortable with skills and communication before the dive. It is obvious that this is a professional dive shop with the priority on safety. First safety of the diver and then safety and protection of reef. Communication was extremely easy with staff very fluent in English. You will not go wrong with Alux.

Absolutely amazing crew. Came here for a refresher course and 2 tanks. Alex straight away knew what we needed to feel comfortable going down again after three years. They have good gear and an amazing atmosphere. Also the price is much better than the bigger, more touristy centres inside the town. Can highly recommend these guys. Muchos gracias crew!

As someone who is new to the underwater world I have to say that Alex and everyone at Alux Divers made my wife and I feel very safe throughout the whole process. Alex help navigate the ambiguity of reaching their location from the cruise port and ensured that we were able to enjoy our dives with basically no delay. The professionalism displayed by this operation was outstanding! They checked our certifications, tailored our dives to our experience level and ran through all necessary safety precautions prior to heading out to the reef. We were able to do a two tank dive and had a different dive master for each one. Pablo and Leo were incredible guides who were not only respectful to us but to the wildlife and environment! It was truly a wonderful experience in Costa Maya! I will certainly be joining Alux Divers again in the future, and if you’re looking for a solid dive operation while you visit the beautiful Costa Maya, look no further!

I really enjoyed my dive with Alux Divers Mahahual. They’re not only very serious about security but also very nice and easy going people. Alex and Pablo are great instructors and they definetly make sure you have a great time at the same time that you keep learning. The dive gear is in very good conditions.
