Alvaro is an exceptional teacher and friend. We did the discovery dive - and Alvaro took extra attention made sure that we had a great experience. First, he took all the time to patiently reach and set us up. For example, my glasses were not the type to fit onto the googles - so Alvaro was able to find the solution. Then when we were diving, he made sure that we had the best pictures and edited a fantastic video for us. Thank you!!!

My husband and I had our first scuba diving with Alvaro in Cancun. It was an unforgettable experience! Alvaro was an experienced instructor who is very personable and fun to talk to. He made it so easy for us to understand the techniques to scuba dive. We felt very safe when diving with him. The underwater world is absolutely beautiful—we saw lots of cool fishes, coral reefs and a big turtle! We were lucky to have Alvaro as our instructor. Alvaro also took some amazing underwater pictures for us. Overall we had a wonderful time scuba diving. I highly recommend Alvaro!

Do yourself a favor and just book a dive with Alvaro! I had a very special day diving in Cozumel, from the fresh breakfast sandwiches to the relaxing car ride, live music on the ferry, a friendly crew on the dive boat, delicious local tacos on the way home, and of course many stories from the man himself! Alvaro was lovely to speak with on the phone and via text as I asked questions and worked out the details of the day. In person he was warm and generous with offering to carry gear, providing food and coffee stops, and answering all of the numerous questions I asked. The actual dives were gorgeous - one along the Santa Rosa wall and one weaving in and out of the Paso de Cedral reef. We found a grazing sea turtle, a crazy looking sea cucumber, a tiny starfish, and so many beautiful fish and vibrant coral that it was hard to even know where to look. On the boat and during the dives Alvaro was attentive, calm, contagiously passionate about diving, and obviously there to make sure we had fun. He took so many pictures and videos and shared them all with me that evening via WhatsApp. I will make sure to return some day and dive the cenotes with Alvaro! Thanks again :)

Alvaro, made my dive experience in Cozumel a 10/10. Alvaro, went beyond any expectations, to make this dives memorable. He took me to the best dive locations in Cozumel. We, had the best tacos after the dives. If you are looking for a dive shop that is knowledgeable of the best dive sites, and a trustworthy company. This would be the site!

Most amazing diving shop I have ever been. Attentive and considerate with the clients and with nature, flexible with changes, punctual and helpful with anything. I had the owner Alvaro dive with me ALONE into amazing cozumel reefs and the surreal experience of the cenotes. He gave me tips to improve my diving, was patient when I needed time and went out of his way to make the experience as positive as possible. When I asked him for a pharmacy he trusted he drove me to one and made sure I got the meds I needed. I am sorry I can only give him a 5 but I totally recomend it.

Our experience with Always Diving was absolutely amazing. Alvaro was fantastic from the time I inquired before our trip until the end. We took 1 child to complete his open water certification and another to get the bubble maker certification. You could tell he really took the time to make sure they were safe every step of the way and could do all of the necessary skills for certification. The dives were nothing short of amazing. Alvaro is a truly wonderful instructor. If you are looking for someone who will give individual attention and work hard to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time, look no further. If you want to get your kids experience with diving, Always diving is the place to do it. We couldn’t be happier.

Wonderful experience here! I haven't been diving for a while so I was pretty nervous going to one of the deeper cenote dives, but Alvaro (the owner of this diving store) really made sure I was feeling comfortable and safe before and during the dive.

Dove The Pit and Dos Ojos caverns with Alvaro. Amazing experience, definitely worth the travel time (from Cancun). I'm hoping to do a Cozumel dive next time I visit, it was heavily recommended by Alvaro.
