★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed in Amanecer Akumal twice while visiting Akumal, Mexico. The building itself is beautiful, with a mexican tiled staircase and a great roof view of the town. The rooms a clean and comfortable and the units have everything you could need. Akumal itself is a relaxing place with great beaches, restaurants, and other activities. It's a short drive to Tulum to visit the ruins. I will absolutely be returning to Akumal and will definitely stay in Amanecer Akumal again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great place. Condos are big, nothing fancy but very comfortable. It is not on the beach and doesn't have beach access. The staff is very polite and helpful.
You can book through Airbnb or at the place. There are a lot of things to do around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend! We have stayed at Amanecer twice and are looking forward to our third visit. The condos are spacious, very clean, and nothing feels or looks worn or dated. A housekeeper comes daily which makes vacation even more fantastic! Amanecer is an easy walking distance to Yal-ku lagoon and Half Moon Bay. We just rented bikes on our last trip and got around town easily. Staying at Amanecer makes vacation easy, enjoyable and memorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our home in paradise for a week! We loved having the balcony outside of the room to watch the birds in the mornings. It's surrounded by beautiful properties and it's close to the public beach access. Norma the housekeeper was great. Hot water wasn't an issue. A/C worked well. It's a huge space so it would be great for a family with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed the week Jan 11-18,2022. Absolutely lovely, cozy, authentic Mexican home. Spacious, it has two large bedrooms, two baths, a/c in most rooms. Just LOVED IT! The owner upgraded us to unit 4, which had a better view and air passage than what we'd booked. The livingroom/dining area was so comfortable, it was like being at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The plunge pool was so pretty, and location was spectacular. Everything we needed, and more!
