Amansala Resort | Yoga, Wellness Retreats & Spa - 77760 Tulum

I paid $3200 for 6 days to have to ask for towels be put in your room. You can’t brush your teeth/drink the water. You can’t flush the toilet paper. You have to use a basket beside the toilet. Also 10/12 of my friends got sick with vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days along with 70% of the resort and they did nothing. Food was the worst and made you want to go out and buy other food. Wanted to love it so bad. People were nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Amansala. I can highly recommend their retreats and it is the perfect place for solo travelers. The people working at Amansala are just great. You can clearly see that they love their job and do everything to make your stay perfect. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing and lots of activities are offered.

Amazing resort. An amazing experience. In my opinion the best resort in Tulum. Very beautiful, clean, kind and nice staff. From the moment we arrived we were given the room quickly, we were given guidance and a charming attitude. I will definitely be back here again.

Incredible oasis! Staying beachside is absolutely the move. Located close to food and shops on the beach, but far enough that it wasn’t loud at night. Each yoga class was amazing, and breakfast was something to look forward to every day. Would come back!

Just got back home to Canada after a wonderful stay at Amansala. The staff were wonderful and the beach club is beautiful along with the food. While I was there a few people got sick but it had only lasted for about half a day it seemed for everyone. That being said, there is a stomach thing going around Tulum but I think by being extremely careful with sanitation like I was I escaped it for the week I was there.

The property is gorgeous with sugar white sands, spacious yoga shalas, and comfortable rooms but what really sets it apart is how friendly and welcoming the staff are. With three different yoga retreats on site at the same time you'd think they would get overwhelmed but they are always smiling and helpful. The food is delicious. Everything is perfection.

I just held a retreat for 20+ people at Amansala end of May 2022. The location is absolutely amazing. The beachfront rooms are gorgeous, the food is absolutely amazing. And for the retreat, with our package, they kept feeding us which was such a blessing. If you're looking to use venues for your location i definitely recommend this one, the yoga shalas were brilliant and the audio in them too was perfect with the sound systems. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, moving around so many things and helping us with the set up. For a couple I would definitely recommend this spot, and getting a gorgeous beach front room for you and your partner or even your family... it makes fr the perfect romantic getaway and when it was raining, the hot tub was the perfect place for us all to sit in. The rooms and drinks were a bit pricey for Mexican standards but you are on the Tulum beach stretch and that's how it is anywhere in that space overall absolutely loved our experience and the staff!

I'd recommend Amansala to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were very nice and clean. The ocean facing bar, lounge tables, and cabanas were extremely pleasant and easy to utilize without additional 'fees' that a lot of other resorts might charge. There was plenty of service staff at all times. The 3 guys on our trip all thought the price paid was reflective of the property. It's clearly not a 5 star resort, but staff, price were all very good. The location is good, albeit on the North end of the main beach strip, which is probably good to be a touch away from some of the unrelenting clubs. Transportation to/from the airport was booked through them and was seamless although about $50usd more each way than if booked elsewhere, but for me worth the convenience.
