★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I felt I just had to leave a review as the breakfasts there are so well done. I keep ordering the eggs + baguette + bacon and it is so simple yet so delicious. Montserrat and Alo were my waiters and have been really friendly and kind. Highly recommend :) All the breads are baked on site, French quality. Great place to work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amarisa is one of my favorite cafes in Puerto! I always get a smoothie or oatmeal with almond milk. The service is great and the waiters are really friendly with everyone. Would definitely recommend you checking it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing dessert, cookies and the coffee is so good and strong. If you are at Zicatela you can go and relax and enjoy the air conditioning while eating a cake or you can go and ask a cool beverage to go and enjoy while you keep waking.
We didn't stay long but I saw a lot of people working on their laptops, they have a cool place and guess good Wi-Fi.
Hope you enjoy as we definitely did. Try chocolate gasnache or any cheescake.
They can make big cakes for events.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot. Lots of people working and on computers. It's a vibe. May or may not like it depending on what you are looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a good place to work and the breakfast is good. Unfortunately they wanted us to pay for consumo AGAIN when lunch came around. That's 200 per person which we already spent at breakfast at around 10:30. So that's 800 pesos in a matter of hours.
Needless to say won't be returning here or recommending it on our guide to Puerto Escondido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ridiculously bad experience with service. We asked for the approximate time of preparation for our breakfast (it was communicated it would be 15 mins) and we confirmed another time since we had a flight just after. After 25 minutes nobody came with our food, we asked for explanation and they went to the kitchen.
No answer for us afterwards, we had to ask another time and finally we were told "other five minutes". Ridiculous. Since I had to leave for my flight, I had to have everything packed to go. Which incredibly worsens the whole breakfast experience. Utterly disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to work at and have a nice lunch too. Amarisa Café has a lot of options for breakfast, the wifi is excellent if you are a digital nomad. The Place is clean, has a/c and you will really appreciate this in puerto Escondido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice vibe and air con inside but not really comfortable for two people to sit comfortably inside. Most of the chairs at the counter or low tables are mismatched or broken. You are better off at the Selina restaurant next door — similar menu and no air con, but more spacious and comfortable; be sure to sit away from the street noise and exhaust gas. The other risk outdoors is all the smokers. The main positive of the entire Selina complex, including Amarisa, is the lightning fast wifi. Pretty clean too. If you are a non smoker, I would steer you to Spirulina nearby.
