My mom and I were lucky enough to take the Sea Turtle Release tour with Amazing Huatulco Tours. This was an amazing day. My heart has never been fuller because of the sea turtles, the community that protects them, and just getting to be with Tomas Vicente. Every minute of this tour was great, from the minute Tomas picked us up until the night was over. He has two clean, safe, comfortable vehicles-one for small groups and one for bigger groups. Tomas has so much knowledge to share- he is a native Zapotec who also speaks perfect English and Spanish. We learned so much from him, but more important, he has the best demeanor and personality, I felt like we were old friends right away. The local community protects the sea turtle eggs from poachers and as soon as they hatch, they need to be released into the ocean. It was such a blessing to set the tortugitas off into the ocean and to spend time with the people who center their lives around protecting them. I gave Tomas my phone to take pictures and videos so I could be fully present with the beautiful experience and he took so many incredible photos and videos for us. I recommend this tour so much, and any tour with Tomas from Amazing Huatulco. He knows and loves Oaxaca and he is passionate about sharing the beauty and culture with others. Wish we could have spent our entire vacation with him! We will get as many days as possible with him when we return to experience more of Oaxaca. Thank you!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Tomas and his associate, Archie! Our group had the most incredible and authentic experience touring San Jose del Pacifico and the mezcal producing areas of Miahuatlan. Tomas truly went above and beyond in tailoring the itinerary to meet our interests and exceeded all of our expectations. He certainly hasn't seen the last of us!

We spent a great time with Tomas. He was friendly, cortious, generous, and so much fun to chat with. He drove us in his comfortable van from Oaxaca City to Huatulco which was a great scenic ride known for its winding road. We had no problems whatsoever with motion sickness because Tomas is an excellent driver. Tomas made sure to customize our tour according to our interests and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Highly recommend him.

We had 2 days with Tomas firstly a walking to tour of Oaxaca and then a day trip to explore the local villages which included a guided walking tour to explore the local bird life. I have to say he was probably the best guide we have ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Oaxaca and his love of the local fauna and bird life was infectious. He was also great fun to be with. However what stood out is that he will go beyond the norm in terms of time and effort to explain what makes Oaxaca tick. This is done in a candid way, so explaining the difficulties as well as the positives. However what you are left with somebody who is genuinely passionate about the culture and history of the Oaxaca state. We will be revisiting.
