America car rental will force you to get the CDW insurance which will more than double the cost of the car rental. There is NO way out of this. You will show them your third party insurance either from your credit card or your booking website and they will say "good for you" and still force you to buy their insurance. They will tell you the only way out of getting the CDW insurance is to put a deposit for the full amount of the car which is approximately $8500 USD. Most people don't have a credit limit this high, but I do, so I called their bluff and gave them my credit card which has a limit well above $8500 and the charge was declined. I call my bank and my bank says no charge was even placed. I try a different credit card, still declined. I call my bank and again they say no charge was placed. I suspect that America car rental prevents the processing of any charge this high and automatically declines it. So even if you have a credit card with a limit that is high enough to cover the cost of the car, you will STILL have to get the CDW insurance. Do not rent here.

I booked from this location. They had a dedicated shuttle from the Airport and friendly staff. They also offer affordable insurance packages.

My passport was new (less than a year old) so they would not rent car to me. Would not allow to change reservation to my girlfriend either. Said they were giving our reservation to someone else.

The service was great , very convenient as they give a free shuttle to the airport and can be easily found when returning the vehicle.

If You really need to rent a car go directly with the company, America Car Renta, due to they do not advise you about the vehicle insurances and it can really get expensive when you get to the renta car company. Ex: with booking I paid 187.00 dollars without insurances, when I arrived at the car rental just the insurance was 180.00 Dollar onust the same price that I paid for just the vehicle rental.

Overall rental experience is good. I did had an inconvenient as they didn't acknowledged the insurance purchased online, and wanted to hold my card for an stupid amount of money (I was renting, not buying the car), aside from that inconvenience, as mentioned already the expertise good. They pick you or drop you from any terminal in airport and the staff at front desks is very kind.
