About American Legion Chapala Post 7
There are only two Posts in the Department of Mexico with a facility. We do not have to hold our meetings and events at various locations. We have our own building for our members and guests to enjoy. One place you can call home, a place you know you will be welcome. Take advantage of this. Buy event tickets, attend post functions (post everlastings, presentations, etc.), eat and drink at the Legion, you don´t have to put out much effort to just show up in support of your Post.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outdoor area with live music on certain days for the retirees in the area, pretty decent American food like the steak and hamburgers they serve on those occasions if you're tired of the taco stands this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always friendly with good food and drinks. The chile relleno on Monday is excellent. They have fun events for holidays with music and many classes. Make friends here as everyone is welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for a great breakfast. Returned for Mardi Gras and ate Gumbo. Gumbo was delicious and great margaritas. Had so much fun. The people and staff were fun. Felt more like family. Loved the live band. I have returned twice since then. I now have a home away from home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love going for the daily specials! Thursday is chicken cordon bleu with your choice of potato and a nice green salad. Very delicious and you can't beat the price. Top it off with a nice cold beer or two.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only 2 blocks from the lakefront walkway. A nice place to sit and enjoy a snack and to meet other people. We were there on a Sunday at lunchtime and had a very tasty burger and fries with ice tea for only US $5.00.
