★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was very friendly. The food and tour was great. I would give them 5 stars but they advertise safety measures and they have none regarding COVID. The boat was at capacity. We also got pulled over by the police who stated we were well over the state mandated maximum occupants for a boat.
I wish they would have shown some better practices regarding COVID safety measures because everything else was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not a tour/ist sort of person so it took me two trips to Bacalar to finally hop on Amir’s tour boat. I have no regrets, it was a great time and our tour guide was so kind. Drinks and fruit were served during the 4 hour tour, completely worth the $35 us we paid. We were boated around to swimming spots with crystal clear water and soft sand in the Laguna which I later took myself to on my kayak (something that felt daunting before the tour because I had no idea where it was safe to swim). Also, Baraka, the restaurant attached to the dock has some of the best food in town, best cappuccinos, and best music IMHO (if you like more obscure electronic/house music). The people are nice and vibe is good— we came back to eat several times during our trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did a sunrise paddling tour and it was amazing! At the end we even booked a boat tour for the same afternoon as well. Amir, Himena and the rest of the team are so cheerful and really do their best to make fun with you and make it an unforgettable experience. I would really recommend their tours to everyone! Thanks guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great boat tour, good fun and great guide. Such a beautiful lagoon. Highly recommend doing a tour. Unlimited tequila cocktails, beers and water, and fresh fruit at the end. The boat was packed full, about 20 people, when 10-15 people would have been much more comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time! Amir is wonderful, and the lagoon is amazing. Everything worked according to plan, and we had time for everything. He cut fresh fruit for us in the middle of the lagoon and we had a refreshing meal. He also let us enjoy our time there without stressing us out. Very recommended and a unique adventure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amir and Ximena are wonderful hosts ?. We did the sunrise paddle board tour and would highly recommend to anyone! It was my wife and I's first time paddle boarding and there probably isn't a better place to learn than Bacalar. The water was super calm, clear and shallow in a lot of areas so we felt really comfortable! The sunrise atop the lagoon was beautiful, and adding great conversation and wonderful guides, this will be an activity we will talk about forever!
