★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room, the Palapa Suite was the best hotel room my wife Melanie and I have ever stayed. The staff including Bebe, Alma, Jacob, and Oscar were attentive to all our needs. The breakfast made to order was outstanding all well as the several dinners had during our stay. The owners Neglia and Keith were very friendly and responded positively to our requests during our 10 day stay. We’ve been going to Zihuatanejo for 15 years and think this is the best hotel in “Z”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good, but not worth the money. the view is nice but at dinner it's dark. Service superb. i came to zihuantenjo for a casual less expensive varied menu. This is a fixed menu, those that say men need slacks, not true.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent Valentines Day at Amuleto Restaurant. The menu was a fixed 5 course meal. The food was amazing. The amuse bouche was a ceviche that made our head turn. The great service made for a fun and delightful evening. The romance factor of this place was a 10+.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most relaxing stay EVER!
We just returned from 7 nights at Amuleto and it was wonderful! What a great resort. We felt very safe and the staff was wonderful. Beautiful sunset views from every spot in the resort. Our room was the best I have ever had. So cool having your own sun patio and dip pool and an outdoor shower, very special.
Elma, Vivi, and Jacobo made sure every need was met. We ate breakfast lunch and dinner there and it was all to gourmet standards. All of the staff cared and it shows. We have never felt so welcome at a resort. It was the perfect size to keep safe during a pandemic.
I swam laps in the pool every morning, it is just the right size. For the most part, the resort is quiet with only the smallest noise coming from the road below. But being up that high made the views very worth it. Gorgeous!
Make sure you ask for a very affordable in-room massage.
We will return as soon as we have the chance to. November was a great month to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous view! Great service, delicious food! Three course set menu, great options, could be slightly larger mains. Wine expensive but that is usually the case in Mexico, opt for cocktails instead :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nestled into the hillside above Zihuatanejo, the Amuleto is exceptionally well designed and decorated with each room having their own terrace, hammock and private pool. Many rooms also have private outdoor showers. The views and the food are spectacular, and the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone on staff is on par with the best anywhere (and we've traveled to more than 70 countries). The chef is excellent and we enjoyed both the quality and presentation of the food -- it's unlike anywhere else. A different breakfast special everyday and a variety of freshly made juices and fruits are presented every morning. They are also wonderful at saying if you don't like today's special, order whatever you want! One of our favorites was the avocado toast topped by two perfectly poached eggs, cherry tomatoes and bean sprouts. Although it's a healthy walk to get into town, taxis are abundant and quite willing to both collect you at the Amuleto and bring you back there at an average of 90 pesos each way. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amuleto has the best view in all of zihuatanejo! The rooms are better than the pictures, I can't say enough about the staff; it was almost as if we had the whole place to ourselves the whole time. The food for every meal is made right then and there and is exquisite.
If you are here visiting just for dinner, I would bring a light jacket, as you are up a little higher and there is a slight breeze. Make sure you book dinner in time for the sunset and then watch the sky change for the next 30 minutes. I highly suggest the octopus as an appetizer, which I don't normally eat anything like that and the tuna for your main.
