Andrea’s Italian San Miguel De Allende - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

The Italian food at this restaurant surpasses anything we have had since Tuscany. The sauce on my dish was made with fresh tomatoes, garlic and basal while I waited and they surpass anything that is pre-made. My only problem with this restaurant is that there are twenty things that look delicious on the menu but I can get past the first dish I ever tried there; penne pasta and sausage. It is a simple dish but it is so good that I can't bear to not order it. I highly recommend Andrea's Restaurante!

Charming, fresh and delicious Italian food that transported me to Italy. I stopped in this restaurant because I was trying to pay my bill, unsuccessfully, at CFE and had a bit of time before I had to work so I saw a sign in the window for a breakfast special so I decided to treat myself to a sit-down meal. It’s a small charming place that had a place in the window so I felt safe sitting down. It turns out it was already noon so the breakfast special had ended and I realized it was an Italian restaurant. I wasn’t thinking of having Italian food but they had a special of chicken parmigiana, which I love, so I decided to stay. Frankly, I wasn’t expecting much because I hadn’t been very successful with Italian food here. So I was pleased when a small, simple salad came with a wonderful vinaigrette. When the chicken parmigiana came, I was blown away. It was so much better than I expected. I’ll add a photo if I can figure out how to do it. It came on a bed of pasta with some of the freshest, tastiest tomato sauce I have ever tasted. I told them it was like being in Italy. The garlic bread they brought on the side was fresh and crispy. Oh, and I forgot to mention the big, fresh, tasty naranjada that accompanied me through the whole meal. The owner/chef was very welcoming, as was the woman who attended me. I will return several times and will bring friends to turn them on to this simple, surprisingly delightful restaurant.

Great quality food. Feels like homecooked italian meal. Small place, feels comfortable and relaxed. We had the 4 cheese salad, mozarella sticks and cheese fettacini. All good! I will come back. Also very very reasonable prices for Smda

This place looks so tiny when you first walk in, but let me tell you the FOOD is amazing, the staff is warm and accommodating and the restaurant actually keeps going back farther and farther, including two beautiful banquet rooms (one with a TV) and a private outdoor enclosed patio way in back. We've gone back twice and everything is ways so good! Reasonably priced! Love, love, love Andrea's!

Good authentic gnocchi dish. Wait staff were congenial.The restaurant is a bit dark, making it difficult to see your food.

Great selection. All 3 dishes we ordered were great. The filet mignon is especially à great deal ! Super tender and cooked to perfection.

As usual we had a lovely dinner! I always enjoy the gnocchi gorgonzola and it was terrific as was the tiramisu. Truly an excellent experience.
