Las supuestas pirámides y demás vestigios son formaciones naturales, y las artificiales son de tiempos modernos gracias a la extracción de material para la construcción. El lugar simplemente no tuvo ni tiene las condiciones, tampoco los recursos para albergar una ciudad prehispánica. Angamuco does not exist nor did it exist, it is a "malpais" or rocky area, surrounded by an important forest patch and volcanic cones. The supposed pyramids and other vestiges are natural formations, and the artificial ones are from modern times thanks to the extraction of material for construction. The place simply did not have and does not have the conditions, nor the resources to house a pre-Hispanic city.
