★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though the airport is far from the city it serves, it’s really nice small airport. Easy to go through, car rental stalls on site and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This airport has now a second floor and a food court. By now is still empty but it looks good. The only problem I see is that it's pretty far from Tuxtla Gutiérrez. A half hour by car at least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful with the guy that takes the payment for baggage from aeromexico. He often overcharges people and sometimes claims their terminal is not working and that you need to get cash from the ATM to pay. If you're over charged you're told to call the 1800 number and then you don't get your money back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small airport but fairly new, it isn’t very busy. There is only an Aeromexico counter to buy your tickets directly at the airport, all other airlines you have to buy online or through the call Center. There’s a couple restaurants once you pass security and a small bar also

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A modern, clean airport. Great restaurant upstairs, with huge panoramic views over the runway and countryside. Prompt, efficient service at the restaurant, with tasty food - usual airport prices though. Would've been 5* rating but no smoking area once through security...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small nice airport with great view to the landing area in the third floor. There are some businesses to eat and drink and expendable machines so you can buy something cheap like sodas and bimbo or sabritas brand stuff.
It is clean and it is not cosy.
