★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hele slechte ervaring met Maya Tours, welke is gelegen naast de Starbucks in Playacar. Mooie verhalen over kwaliteit, maar beloftes tijdens het boeken worden niet na gekomen. Bij Chicken Itza tour hebben we een uur op de bus moeten wachten zonder enige communicatie door Maya Tours terwijl we voor de deur stonden te wachten. Ze waren alleen maar druk op hun telefoon, maar gaven geen enkele informatie. Er was een Engels talige tourguide beloofd, deze sprak echter 80% Spaans en maar 20% Engels waardoor er bij de rondleiding bij Chicken Itza weinig van te begrijpen was. Er is was maar 50 minuten tijd bij de Cenote waardoor je even snel het water in kon springen maar er daarna ook heel snel weer uit het water moest om weer terug naar de bus te gaan. Bij het dorp werden we zonder enige toelichting uit de bus gezet en moesten we daar 40 minuten doorbrengen zonder enige tips of informatie over bezienswaardigheden. Daarnaast met 6 personen veel meer betaald dan andere mensen in de bus (ruim 30 dollar per persoon). We zijn terug geweest bij Maya Tours om dit bespreken, moesten tot 3 keer toe terug komen en weer uitleggen en uiteindelijk boodt de manager via een medewerker een fles tequila ter compensatie van deze tour ..... 1 fles tequila terwijl we daar ruim 1300 dollar hebben uitgegeven.
Houdt er daarnaast ook nog rekening mee dat als je met creditcard betaald er 8 procent commissie door hen wordt berekend en dat ze ongunstige wisselkoersen aanhouden (wat je ruim 125 dollar kost). Je maakt prijsafspraken in dollars, maar uiteindelijk moet je in Mexicaanse pesos betalen waardoor je ruim 200 dollar meer betaald dan de afgesproken prijs. Vooral niet boeken als je niet meer een zuur gevoel van oplichting wilt rondlopen tijdens je vakantie
Very bad experience with Maya Tours, which is located next to the Starbucks in Playacar. Great stories about quality, but promises when booking are not kept. At Chicken Itza tour we had to wait an hour for the bus without any communication from Maya Tours while we were waiting at the door. They were just busy on their phone, but did not provide any information. Also keep in mind that if you pay by credit card, they will charge 8 percent commission and that they will keep unfavorable exchange rates (which costs you more than $ 125). You make price agreements in dollars, but in the end you have to pay in Mexican pesos, which means you pay more than 200 dollars more than the agreed price. Especially do not book if you no longer want to have a sour feeling of scams during your vacation

abbiamo parlato col proprietario Chan il quale è stato cortese ed economico in confonto ai prezzi proposti all' interno del villaggio (i tour erano gli stessi)
abbiamo comprato il tour chichen itza + Cenote Ik Kil + valladolid e lo suggerisco., il migliore
e anche il tour tulum + snorkeling a playa paraiso + cenote sotterraneo e questo personalmente non lo consiglio, fate solo lo snorkeling (merita lo snorkeling perchè a playa paraiso ci sono le tartarughe sempre perchè le cibano)
inoltre Mr Chan ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti per visitare isla Cozumel in modo indipendente, perciò senza guadagnarci nulla in questo caso.
Mr Chan ci ha lasciato il suo nr di telefono cossichè per qualsiasi evenienza avremmo potuto contattarlo (cosa poi effettivamente avvenuta)
Ricapitolando, ci siamo trovati bene, agenzia seria, bei tour e abbiamo risparmiato un 40% rispetto ai prezzi proposti all' interno dell' agenzia

Chan we spoke to the owner who was friendly and economical in the prices proposed confonto all 'inside the village (the tour were the same)
we bought the tour Chichen Itza + Cenote Ik Kil + valladolid and I recommend it. The best
and also the tour tulum playa paraiso + + snorkeling in cenotes and underground this personally do not recommend it, just do snorkeling (snorkeling deserves because in playa paraiso there are always turtles because the feed)
Mr Chan also gave us great tips for visiting isla Cozumel independently, so without gaining anything in this case.
Mr Chan has left his nr cossichè phone us for any case we could contact him (something then actually occurred)
In summary, we were good, serious agency, beautiful tour, and we saved a 40% compared to the prices offered to 'internal' agency

BUT AS SOME ONE AND MAY BE MANY MORE PPL THAT HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF
