En ese lugar se han encontrado fósiles de Megafauna de la era del hielo como: mamut, de tigres dientes de sable, de oso cara corta, camellos, caballos. Además es la zona arqueológica más cercana a la ciudad de Aguascalientes pues existen alineamientos de asentamientos indígenas de los pueblos mesoamericanos y de los chichimecas. Lo único malo son algunos visitantes que no se llevan la basura ?. Great place to spend some time with the family, you can bring your grill, cooler and food. Walking the course is safe. P	Pepe Guerrero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un bosque espinoso propio de la flora y fauna semi desértica, pues hay mezquite, huizache, nopal y arbustos espinosos. Requiere de llevar calzado de suela gruesa, es un lugar muy vivo, se pueden apreciar aves como el quebranta huesos, gavilán y los pajaritos agraristas. Existe una enorme y bella Yuca, ha de tener una altura de 7 metros y es la única del lugar. En estos momentos hay mucha actividad por parte de las hormigas y como estamos en la temporada de sequía, todo se encuentra polvoso y seco. Me admiración al ver la tenacidad y resistencia a la sequía que tiene ese bello lugar. Hay serpientes aunque en el tiempo que he sendereado en el bosque, no me topado con ninguna, aún así, llevo mis polainas contra víboras por precaución. Si lo visitan, por favor recojan su basura para conservar limpio y bello el lugar. Saludos.
