★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hoy, 21 de noviembre de 2016, pasé a un costado de éste predio abandonado y vi con mucho gusto que los trabajos de restauración avanzan. En este convento, secularizado en tiempos de Benito Juárez, se fundó la Biblioteca Nacional. Los bustos con los sabios, científicos y escritores fueron una de las cosas que más me llamaron la atención la primera vez que visité las inmediaciones, se les ha retirado y ojalá que se les devuelva cuando las obras concluyan.
Today, November 21, 2016, I went to the side of this abandoned property and saw with pleasure that the restoration work is progressing. In this convent, secularized in the time of Benito Juárez, the National Library was founded. Busts with the wise, scientists and writers were one of the things that most caught my attention the first time I visited the surroundings, they have been removed and hopefully they will be returned when the works are finished.
