I have friends living here, the atmosphere is healthy and the house is beautiful if you like the historical, quiet and guarded 24 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been staying here a few months and love it. I'm moving soon and I will miss it here dearly.
The rooms are quite big and it's quiet (besides fireworks :D gotta love Xochimilco) and secure. There is a large impenetrable door out front and security cameras all over; private rooms large enough for 2 and gas stoves for cooking.
The landlord Carlos is a really good guy and his family is friendly and inviting. I would recommend staying here for short or long-term periods. Not a long walk to the FCO Gotia tren and great eating places around. Check out Romero's Tacos across the street (rendition.) Some of the best Tacos I've had and not too expensive
