One of the most historic houses in Mexico City because Octavio Paz, the 1990 Nobel Prize winner for Literature, lived there. At some point in the 20th century this house became a nunnery that opens its doors on Holy Thursday during the visit of the 7 houses.

Hay que tocar el timbre y esperar un poquito.
On Saturdays and Sundays it sells sweet bread, tamales, cookies, eggnog, pickled chilies, and in December buñuelos. All delicious.
