Antigua Trattoria Romana - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

Feels like an authentic Italian trattoria. Very well located. We had spaghetti, potato soup, pizza and fettuccine alfredo. Food was excellent. Service very good even on busy Sunday afternoon. They offer pizza delivery service which we took advantage of a couple of times and were prompt and food still hot.

There was a group of 11 people ahead of us, but the waiter said their food was already cooking. He was very good and we got drinks and our pizza ordered. It took a bit but was well worth the time. Best pizza in Mexico. Great service and he wrapped our leftovers in foil and a foam box to make sure it came home in great shape.

Waited almost ten minutes at the door to come in.No one around to let me in. Door roped off..Restaurant had only three clients inside.-almost empty... Ordered take out.. Waited almost one hour for the worst pizza ever.---no tomato sauce like the menu said, , no anchovies, just cheese, three pieces of black olives,(probably equaled one olive) and the pizza was half cooked.--white on the bottom, dough fell apart it was sooo thin..-worst pizza ever..... Soup to go--top came off on the way home and-had to hold it not to spill in the cab...awful.. The worst experience ever---waste of time and money. ..I came in before another lady too but the waiter took her order first..waiter needs more training..Then, finally when the waiter brings my order, he walks away making me wait more time for him to collect the check.. In the meantime I left the right amount of $$ and left---Bad service from beginning to end...At least the fries at Mc Donalds are consistent... Every time I order food there it comes back different than the menu... What is going on?? Need less to say, not going back... Three bad experiences is enough--paying for food I did not order...p.s. was my favorite restaurant.

Go figure I'd have to visit Mexico to find my favorite Italian restaurant. Loved everything about this place. We're going back again Sunday just to make sure it was as fantastic as we remember it.

We ordered a pizza margarita rustica and we were promised a 45 minute delivery. It showed up in 50 minutes still warm enough to eat. It was made with all fresh ingredients and delicious. It tempted us to go try dine in. Recommended!

We had our Valentine's day lunch here. Pasta was absolutely amazing, and so was the shrimp scampi. The owner changed the spinach to mashed potatoes when my husband told him he has spinach allergy. Great place!!

My wife and I wanted to eat dinner at another nearby Italian restaurant but it was closed so we decided to give this place a try. My beef lasagna was delicious and my wife also enjoyed her chicken parmesan. The service was also very good and attentive I'd definitely come back here again

Best Italian food in San Miguel de Allende hands down! I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's a small location, however the service was great!
