★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un extraordinario monumento, así lo calificaría, por el valor humano que resguarda. Ya que, en el, se encuentran sepultados muchos personajes, que influyeron grandemente dentro de la sociedad xalapeña y del estado. Así como personajes extranjeros, que están aquí sepultados. Algunos de ellos, Juan de la luz Enríquez, Sebastián Camacho, familia Sayago, los mártires del 28 de agosto, en su momento Guízar y Valencia, don Justo Fernández, Enrique C. Rebsamen, entre otros. Así como sus sepulcros tan bien elaborados, que en su momento deben haber sido hermosos, en su construcción y estilo. En pocas palabras, un cementerio casi único en México.
 An extraordinary monument, I would rate it, for the human value it protects. Since, in it, many characters are buried, which greatly influenced the Xalapeña society and the state. As well as foreign characters, who are buried here. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar históricamente importante para la ciudad, dónde se encuentran tumbas de xalapeños ilustres. Un cementerio parecido al cementerio parisino del "Père Lachaise" aunque no esté tan protegido. Amo este lugar. Lo visito regularmente.
A historically important place for the city, where there are tombs of illustrious Xalapeños. A cemetery similar to the Parisian cemetery of the "Père Lachaise" although it is not so protected. I love this place. I visit it regularly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es hermoso el sitio por el valor histórico que representa, es una lástima que algunas zonas se encuentren bastante deterioradas. Debería de convertirse en un sitio para visitar, con información sobre los xalapeños ilustres que están sepultados, dar mantenimiento, rehabilitarlo y atender a la población de gatos fetales que moran ahí.
The site is beautiful for the historical value it represents, it is a pity that some areas are quite deteriorated. It should become a place to visit, with information about the illustrious Xalapeños who are buried, maintain, rehabilitate and serve the population of fetal cats that live there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El 11 de diciembre de 1986 fue declarado Patrimonio de la Nación el Panteón Antiguo de Xalapa por el entonces presidente Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado. Un sitio donde se encuentra parte de la historia de la capital veracruzana.
El 14 de marzo de 1831 el gobernador Sebastián Camacho estableció mediante el decreto N° 213, oficialmente fundado el primer cementerio municipal de Xalapa, hoy conocido como “Panteón 5 de Febrero”.
On December 11, 1986 was declared a World Heritage National Pantheon Old Xalapa by President Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado. A place is part of the history of the Veracruz capital.
On 14 March 1831 the governor Sebastian Camacho established by Decree No. 213, officially founded the first municipal cemetery in Xalapa, now known as "Pantheon Feb. 5".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pocas palabras pueden describir este lugar. Quizá las tumbas más nuevas sean de los principios de 1900. El olor a muerte te guía aproximadamente una o dos cuadras antes de llegar. Cruzar su portón te intimida y te roba el aliento, es un lugar imperdible para cualquiera que disfrute de visitar espacios pintorescos y que muevan algo dentro suyo.
Few words can describe this place. Perhaps the newest tombs are from the early 1900s. The smell of death guides you about a block or two before you arrive. Crossing your gate intimidates you and steals your breath, it is an unmissable place for anyone who enjoys visiting picturesque spaces and moving something inside them.
