★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOL this place was terrible. Limited wine selection. Dry chicken. Dull mole. Better refried beans from a can. The booze didn't even get me drunk (and I tried quite hard). Two stars though because if you're with a family, this is probably an ideal pick. Long list of menu options, tons of space, friendly staff.

The food is nothing to write home about, but the ambience and setting is what you're paying for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming to Coyoacán for a few years. Always look for places to eat by the main plaza. We sat out front to see the watch people, but you will be bothered by the street vendors insistently.
Service was fast, but that was about the extent of the pluses.
Drinks were weak, asked for simple jack and coke. But the amount was paltry.
We ordered the steak dinner, this was the only dish that was decent. Meat had a good taste and it was a great cut. Sometimes they give you meat with too much nerve or tendons.
We also had the cochinita pibil it was ok. The spices were not overwhelming, if any thing a bit salty and the dish was warm.
My dish was chicken breast wrapped around cheese and laid in a huitlacoche sauce. The chicken was dry, and the sauce did not taste good.
Overall bad experience, never coming back here. There are other places that are much better.
