★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I arrived there they were just setting up so I didn't mind waiting. It wasn't even that early, maybe 8:30 or 9am but when the they were ready the waiters had just arrived in regular clothes and they looked like they had just woken up. Hair all messed up, shirts all undone, our waiter with his fly open and the rest getting ready in the bathroom, changing, washing their face, fixing their hair and brushing their teeth. Do they live in the restaurant or something?? But I'll give all credit to the ladies in the kitchen for getting up on time, getting properly ready and dressed for work and still make a delicious pozole.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this restaurant a couple of times now and I will say that the food is good. Both the red pozole and other dishes. The service, however, is lacking. We arrived and the restaurant was about 70% full but it was not busy. However, we had to flag down a waiter ourselves to get a menu, and then again to order. They served one dish about 15 minutes before the other arrived instead of serving both at once. We then had to ask for the check twice before actually getting it. The restaurant itself is in a good location but the interior is very uninspired. There is nothing done about interior decor and with the children's playground in the corner it might as well have been a McDonald's.
As a conclusion, the food is fine but that is the only reason to go there. I personally prefer the restaurant downtown as it's a much nicer place and the service is better.
