The original intention was to stay at the 'Al son de los santos' Hostel, owned by the same owner, however, due to lack of rooms, they offered us one night at the 'Apartment Suites', which, although it is 5-7 minutes from the University of Guanajuato, their service leaves much to be desired. From the outset, the young man at the reception was somewhat overbearing and inattentive: he responded as if he were doing you a favor; I asked him for a couple of towels and he never brought them to the room (I ended up taking them from the place where they keep them); I asked for two blankets and he gave me only one; When I asked him where the light on the terrace was turned on, he told me that it was turned on at 7:30 p.m., since after 6:00 p.m. it was already dark and I wanted to occupy the space to have dinner with my boyfriend (we had dinner in the dark). In addition, although he clarified that the check out was at 12:00 and we vacated at 12:35, he knocked on the door and arrogantly commented that we should vacate or he would charge us half a stay more. Ok, I accept that we exceeded the time, but there are ways to ask for things or, in this type of service, ask if you want to stay one more night before making that type of comment, even more so when you did not have the best attention. I hope these situations improve, otherwise, I must say that it is a clean, quiet, safe place where they offer you bread, juice, milk and coffee for breakfast.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Although they do not have fans and the temperature requires it. The service is good. And the location is up high so it takes a bit of walking to get there.
