My friends and I loved our experience at Arango. The restaurant has the most amazing view of the Monument of the Revolution. The food was balanced, tasty, and has a range of delicious flavors, and the drinks were also delicious. The staff is also amazing and very friendly, especially our server Victor and the manager who helped to recommend other great restaurants. I would definitely eat here again!

Arango was recommended by a local colleague. While the food was pretty good, the overall experience wasn’t. Our reservation was for 7 pm on a Sunday. There was only one other table seated. It was obvious shortly after we arrived that they wanted us out of there as soon as possible. It was strange when they asked us what we wanted for dessert while we were finishing our appetizers. I had to remind the waiter that we hadn’t received our main courses yet. And literally 10 seconds after we finished our main courses our desserts arrived. Also this was the only time in Mexico I can remember our bill being given to us before we asked for it. This was our last night in Mexico City so we wanted a night to remember. Well it was a night to remember but for the wrong reason. I would not recommend this place.

Arango is absolutely magical. The views are stunning, and lesser restaurants could skate by on the ambience alone. But Arango goes way beyond its terrific design and show stopping views - the staff is extraordinarily friendly and engaged and the cuisine is worth raving about. One thing to note about Arango is that it actually has reasonably sized portions - ie. Not the gigantic plates you will find even at incredible super fine dining spots like Maximo. This is greatly appreciated, as we like walking home feeling satisfied but not weighed down! Also worth a shout out is the burrata salad - possibly the best I’ve had outside of Italy! (And we live in NYC!) - The black esquites are also quite special. You can’t go wrong here.

Did the tasting menu. The lamb tacos were some of the best I have had.

Good food, great service, the only thing I’d suggest is to add more smaller tables at the window front, most seats at the windows are big tables for 4-6

This place offers high end Mexican cuisine, well executed menu and fresh quality ingredients, many dishes are interpretations of classical Mexican recipes using high quality ingredients, really an amazing culinary experience. The view from the terrace is magnificent, overlooking the superb Revolution Monument, try booking around sunset to enjoy an amazing view.

Great VIEW of MONUMENTO A LA REVOLUCION, hostess was attentive but formal, waiter need some more relationships skills, the drink was awesome ? red fruit spirit and mimosa … food was ok although without any surprise or intention to be a great dish… so far not bad but not the best or unavoidable … open bar for mimosas is definitely a plus plus

The food is average to mediocre. They need to find a good chef for this nice restaurant. The duck confit has nothing to do, it should be a complete piece while they serve some tasteless minced meat... The fish was much better. The hummus is not that good. The best they had was the pork skins (chicharrón)! The restaurant is very nice with panoramic views, especially if you are seated by the window on the side of the monument to the revolution. Friendly service. Some prices are good and some others are very high!
