★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small archeological area close to the city of Colima. Good maintained and worth a visit. Time needed is less than an hour. The archeological sights are dated back to 1100 - 1400 b.c.. On several stone panels the historical background of the buildings and temples are explained. The explanations are given in Spanish, English and the native language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a surprisingly nice and large archaeological site in the middle of a residential area in Colima. You can scan a QR code at the entrance which will lead you to a website (Spanish and English) with more information about the site, as otherwise this is a self-guided location. Be sure to wear a hat because there isn't a lot of shade.
