Amazing set of ruins that is just enough off the beaten path to be empty of tourists. I expected them to be small, but the complex is pretty big with some towering temples. Our kids loved exploring the ruins without a soul in sight.

I loved it and spent many hours there. Beautiful, large and well preserved place. Lots of amazing structures to climb on and get an expansive view.

Very beautiful site. Easily accessible and not crowded at all. We were alone with our guide. We've been visiting the site with Guillermo from the Mono Rojo museum, I recommend very much to visit with him as he knows a lot about the Maya culture, and is really passionate and interesting about art, you can also visit his museum showing his art and Maya artefacts. We had a wonderful time.

Hidden gem for sure! Doable with a wheelchair since there are only a few steps and tree roots that you'll need to navigate in order to get around to most of the buildings. You can climb the tallest temple and get a great view over the ruins and the surrounding rainforest

One of the smaller Mayan sites in Mexico, but still worth visiting. The view of the large pyramid is spectacular and getting up there, as always, a bit of a chore. Of course other sites such as Tikal are a lot larger and better restored but the advantage here is that much less people visit it, which is also the reason why you are allowed to climb the original staircases of the buildings, which isn't possible in some of the other sites anymore due to the large number of people visiting them.

The most beautiful archaeological site. Get there early. 8 AM. And you will have to entire place to yourself. You need 2-3 hours to explore Becán.

Beautiful Mayan city with a massive pyramid of 32 meters approximately. Very nice walk and free to climb on the monuments. Great view from the top! I spend about 2 hours in the archeological site and it was worth it.

This place was bigger than expected but not so big you need to pack a lunch. But so worth the fee to get in most of the buildings have signs with descriptions easy to walk around. Just beautiful.
