Unknown archaeological beauty. A nice rest from the busy market. The guard knows the history of the place and it will explain it really well, only in Spanish

Visited in late December of 2020. The site was closed despite archeological sites at Monte Alban and Mitla being open to visitors. Disappointing.

Just go, the views of the valley, the feel of history here, and the surrounding village is cute as hell

Not that much to see but still nice in total two graves (well maintained) Go there if you are close, but don't spend 2 hours in the highway for it... unless you are a crazy history professor :)

Very small site with only 1 mound, with one tomb accessible. Tomb 1 has excellently preserved figures and makes the site worth it if you are in Zaachila to visit the Thursday market. As usual with INAH, their anti-scientific covid rules make zero sense whatsoever and they have closed access to the larger tomb 2. Have they decreased the entry fee as a result? No, they have increased to 50 pesos.
