Es una construcción del siglo XVIII.
Aparte del archivo, al que tiene uno acceso de manera gratuita, previo registro.
Se encuentra a la entrada la colosal cabeza de Bronce del Ángel de la Independencia, que cayó con el terremoto de 1957.
The Historical Archive of the CDMX, in my opinion, is the most beautiful building in the Historic Center.
It is an 18th century building.
Apart from the file, to which you have one access for free, prior registration.
At the entrance is the colossal bronze head of the Angel of Independence, which fell with the earthquake of 1957.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Por si solo el edificio tiene mucha historia, si a eso le sumamos la historia que resguarda (archivos) es muy bueno, pero realmente lo que le da un plus son las visitas guiadas (en mi caso fuí entre semana) porque las explicaciones que dan Martha de la Rocha y Karla Motte son fascinantes y claras, conocen perfectamente el lugar, los documentos y son super amables y siempre dispuestas a responder tus preguntas.
By itself the building has a lot of history, if we add to that the history that it protects (archives) it is very good, but what really gives it a plus are the guided tours (in my case I went during the week) because the explanations that they give Martha de la Rocha and Karla Motte are fascinating and clear, they know the place, the documents perfectly and they are super friendly and always willing to answer your questions.
