About Arena México

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I love going to see Lucha Libre at Arena México. It's always a fun time, and enjoyable to see the crowd's engagement. The venue is great. I prefer Arena México over Coliseo so recommend catching an event here if it's possible.
Lucha is a must-see for tourists.
You can get tickets online or at a Ticketmaster booth, but normally you can get tickets at the Venue without problems. Also, avoid buying tickets from the resellers and go to the ticket booth directly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lucha libre was SO MUCH FUN!
Highly recommended-it’s easy to buy the tickets before the show, they offer all kind of different price ranges. You can buy snacks and beer and just have a good time.
Definitely a must-do when in Mexico City

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pro-tip for tourists:
Don't go with a tour. They're good for history, but enjoy the night in this order:
1. Catch your favorite gluten-free taco spot, preferably with some alcohol.
2. Google the history of Lucha Libre at the restaurant. Start testing your friends to enforce that recall.
3. Go and enjoy this super cool, fun, and entertaining Lucha Libre spectacle on a weekday when general admission is around $15.
It was a fantastic time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience. Really good price for the seats. It's a nice night out to have some beers, have some snacks and scream at the luchadores. Buying a luchador mask outside is a perfect souvenir!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Lucha Libre and had an amazing time! Purchased my ticket on Ticketmaster. There’s two options. One has Freedom, which is a bar in the Arena (I think it includes drinks and food or just food alone with the purchase of the ticket) and the other is seating in the arena, where I sat. There are staff that will walk you to your seat. And other staff that will sell and bring you beer to your seat. Lucha Libra was amazing and I’ll definitely go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the arena to watch some wrestling. It is very easy to purchase tickets I used my Google translator and simply asked for two seats together as close to the ring as possible. Seats were fantastic! Facility itself is very aged but still very functional. The washrooms were clean although very old. If you decide to go to see wrestling, take lots of pocket change. The people to show you to your seats seem to work on Tips and there was an attendant in the bathroom. Snacks and beers were cheap enough. Neighbourhood seems safe enough, we walked back up the Centro area (near Zocalo) with no issues

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant night out with the kids. We went on Sunday which is family night. Show starts at 5pm and runs for 2 hours. When we went, it wasn't that busy but the crowd gets into it and the atmosphere was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cultural experience! The stadium wasn't too full when we were there but there still was good atmosphere. DO NOT BUY TICKET FROM THE RESELLERS: They will be more expensive. We bought ours for 50 pesos (the resellers we're selling the same tickets for 100pesos telling us that they didn't have any of the same seats at the booth) and we had a good view as you can see from my pictures.
