Arenal es uno de los nueve restaurantes del Hotel Xcaret Arte. Se destaca por su oferta gastronómica de platillos de las costas de México. Sus pescados y mariscos son sumamente frescos y, en general, los platillos son deliciosos.
Además, la decoración y las vistas que tiene este lugar a las caletas, son sumamente bellos.
La atención, al igual que en todo el complejo de Xcaret Arte es excepcional.
Un agradecimiento especial a los meseros de este restaurante, por ofrecernos opciones veganas y deliciosas recomendaciones.
Mi recomendación personal: el cóctel negro, camarones de Campeche y el postre de Cacao.

Arenal is one of the nine restaurants at Hotel Xcaret Arte. It stands out for its gastronomic offer of dishes from the coasts of Mexico. Their fish and shellfish are extremely fresh and, in general, the dishes are delicious.
In addition, the decoration and the views that this place has of the coves are extremely beautiful.
The attention, as in the entire Xcaret Arte complex, is exceptional.
A special thanks to the waiters of this restaurant, for offering us vegan options and delicious recommendations.
My personal recommendation: the black cocktail, Campeche shrimp and the Cacao dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am rating it only one star because we ordered the fastest dish on the menu: a burger. Not only took 1 hour to make it to our table, but also the meat was completely burnt! What is the point to even ask how we wanted it? I can’t comprehend how the cook or chef can serve something like that. I could not finish it. I told the waiter and he asked me if I wanted something else from the menu but I declined due to their super slow service… I did not want to wait another hour for my food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing and peaceful spot on the beach, under the caves. The dishes are impressive. Fish-based plates as ceviche and grilled shrimps very tasty and well-cooked. At dinner time a totally different menu wait for you. Rice with seafood, the southern parrilla with grilled octopus (in a particular marinated sauce) and meat. I suggest going for both lunch and dinner, the menus are worth it and the location is so nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If we only knew this place existed sooner during our stay we would have dined here everyday. The food is super exquisite and unique that everything on the menu should be tried out at least once especially the bone marrow. We had lunch and our server Lorenzo was super excellent. The drink constantly filled and table was constantly wiped and clean. There is a slight delay in food serving but this is the quality to expect.
