I ordered a steak, they brought a beautiful dish, a large piece of meat. But inside he was cold. They redid it 2 times, the third time they hardly got into the roast. Moreover, they did not remake from scratch, but simply roasted the same piece. Oo, for some reason, for some reason, it decreased by 2 times, as if they were pinching off a little) The most interesting thing is that the staff did not even apologize, no discounts or compliments were offered. However, we were alone in the restaurant.

The atmosphere and the unbeatable attention. For lunch, I tried the mushroom soup, which was delicious, and they also serve you a fairly large portion. As a second course, I ordered the chicken mixiote, the portion is quite large and the flavor is very good, accompanied by nopalitos and corn tortillas. We had a bottle of wine from the region (tempranillo) I don't remember the name but it was delicious. Unfortunately I didn't have the stomach for a dessert. Very good place if you want to eat well.

Restaurant inside the hotel, it has space for a few diners, but it is not a very busy place either, quite cozy. The food is a bit out of the context that they handle, which is Mexican food, but the truth is that everything we tried was quite tasty, they give you a courtesy appetizer, which in my case was cottage cheese with macha sauce and an artisan bread that I Left wanting to order more. To snack they also have some kid taquitos that ufff in my opinion were delicious, in general all very tasty. In relation to the price, the truth is that in my opinion it is expensive, around $400 to $700 per person, obviously it depends on the appetite of each person. Personally, I would not go as my first experience in the place, which is Peña de Bernal, but not because it is a place with bad food or that they do not serve well or much less, but because when traveling, the true gastronomic experience is found in the local stalls street food, where really is that seasoning in which all these good restaurants are inspired for their dishes.

Excellent taste of food and dessert. Small warm and cozy place, nice for a nice dinner and a glass of wine.
