★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Sencillo” isn’t a word that translates well into English. It’s something like simple yet elegant, in this case you can add damn good too! The “Arrieros” are a basic Mexican dish, think oversized carne asada or adobado (savory spiced) pork tacos, and qualify 10x over as a stellar sencillo in the street food category. Recommend the corn ones, as the tortilla is homemade and pillowy on the inside, well toasted on the outside. Don’t expect gimmicky street food, just a superbly executed Mexican staple served with a smile and a glass bottle of coke.
The works comes with diced onions, oregano, beans and a red salsa. Do speak Spanish or at least give it a try... say it with me now: “Un arriero (a-ree-yehr-oh) de carne asada con todo!”
Don’t forget to try all the salsas - a veritable Mexican banchan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got to described as fancy taco. It has a big natural tortilla, cheese , beef, marinated beef, and chorizo, beans, and many sauces options.
I used to enjoy arrieros often, this arrieros are tasty and delicious. Is a street food but its all about the flavor. For Mexicans and tourist you have to try it.
