Diario Oficial de la Federación, fecha: 27/10/1959 - Edición Matutina, SECRETARÍA DE RECURSOS HIDRÁULICOS DECLARACION de propiedad nacional de las aguas de los arroyos denominados Xindhó-Nimacú y las de los manantiales de La Huerta, Tanque Grande, Estanco y La Cruz, en Huichapan, Hgo. Las aguas del arroyo Xindhó-Nimacú tiene las siguientes características: Son de régimen torrencial y cauce definido teniendo su origen en las estribaciones del cerro de Xindhó en jurisdicción del Municipio de Huichapan del Estado de Hidalgo. En su trayecto atraviesa por un terreno particular del Rancho de Nimacú. En dicha propiedad afloran cuatro manantiales que reciben los nombres de La Huerta, Tanque, Estanco y La Cruz, los que son de sistema permanente y afloramiento espontáneo, cuyas aguas si no fueran aprovechadas totalmente, afluirían por un cauce definido y por la margen izquierda al arroyo de Xindhó-Nimacú, el que tiene una longitud aproximada de 12 a 16 kilómetros, atravesando terrenos de los Municipios de Huichapan y Tecozautla, Hgo., para descargar sus aguas mediante el arroyo de San Miguel al río Pathecito, declarado como de propiedad nacional. Este río es afluente a su vez del río de San Juan del Rio, correspondiente a la cuenca del Río Pánuco.

Official Gazette of the Federation, date: 10/27/1959 - Morning Edition, SECRETARIAT OF HYDRAULIC RESOURCES DECLARATION of national ownership of the waters of the streams called Xindhó-Nimacú and those of the springs of La Huerta, Tanque Grande, Estanco and La Cruz, in Huichapan, Hgo. The waters of the Xindhó-Nimacú stream have the following characteristics: They are of a torrential regime and a defined channel having their origin in the foothills of the Xindhó hill in the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Huichapan of the State of Hidalgo. On its way it crosses a particular terrain of the Rancho de Nimacú. In said property there are four springs that are called La Huerta, Tanque, Estanco and La Cruz, which have a permanent system and spontaneous outcrop, whose waters, if they were not fully used, would flow through a defined channel and on the left bank to the Xindhó-Nimacú stream, which has an approximate length of 12 to 16 kilometers, crossing lands of the Municipalities of Huichapan and Tecozautla, Hgo., to discharge its waters through the San Miguel stream to the Pathecito river, declared as national property . This river is in turn a tributary of the San Juan del Rio river, corresponding to the Pánuco River basin.
