Artepil Spa (Marina Vallarta) - 48335 Puerto Vallarta

Had an absolutely incredible experience at the Marina Vallarta location of Artepil today! I had some time this afternoon and had been hoping to get a massage and facial. I arrived in the morning, and I was told I came at the right time as weekday mornings tend to be more open for walk-ins. They were able to fit me in right away. Perla was my therapist, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Professional, courteous, and highly skilled. My treatment began with the Balancing Massage, which was 75 minutes of pure healing. I work at a computer all day and it was wreaking havoc on my neck and back. Perla instinctively knew which areas to focus on and applied exactly the right pressure - I didn't have to say anything at all as she performed a magical combination of massage techniques from shiatsu, to hot stone, to gentle stretching...it was exactly what I needed. Then the Deep Cleansing Facial. I've been living with a pretty congested complexion that was bothering me a lot and I knew I needed something with extractions to help me cleanse away my milia and clogged pores. Perla was efficient and thorough throughout the service, as gentle as possible while still acheiving the results I was looking for. (Fair warning; if you've never had extractions before, it's a bit like waxing - even when it's gentle and done well, you can still expect some pain if you want good results!) She also used other high-end cleansing techniques and massaged my face, shoulders, and scalp. Overall, the service I received from Perla and Artepil was on par or better than services I've received that were 2-5 x more expensive back home in Canada. The only thing you might need to know is the facility does not have showers, so ensure you're not going straight out somewhere else after a massage! Fantastic place, highly recommended and I will be back whenever I visit Vallarta!

90 minute Hot Stone Massage with Yared was absolutely the best ever. I injured my back moving a full case of glass bottled cokes and was really hurting. This massage was 90 minutes of pain free bliss, and the improvement in my back pain was incredible. Highly recommend!

Our group of ladies just enjoyed another visit to this spa. Staff are very good at their job. Waxing- they don’t miss a single hair! Massages are fantastic. Mon-Wednesday some services are half price!

Most expensive manicure pedicure I've ever had in Mexico, almost 1,000 MXN, for manicure pedicure with gel and gel removal and they only did a mediocre job, didn't file my nails evenly, the gel started to chip off relatively quickly.. I've lived here a year and a half, had at least 20 manicures over that time and multiple different cities, both small and large on average I pay 600 - 700 pesos, $800 at the absolute maximum but even that is rare. The location at the marina is old with uncomfortable chairs, you can't really speak to other people because the massage room is right next to the manicure pedicure area.

Got a detox facial here, it was great! She really took time to clean my pores and gave an amazing head massage as well.

Went here twice in Jan 22. Deep tissue massage was good and I got it b4 they upped the price from 880 to 990. Got regular massage too . Honestly it’s pretty good. Not wonderful like the reviews say. It’s clean, efficient but no shower after an oily massage , would be good to have warm, wet towels to wipe off oil etc. there are heaps of other spa and massage places in PV. This place does pretty well for sure and prices are fair . Could be victim of its own success I feel with this place. Two 90 minute massages and big tip. I’d give it 3.5 . All depends on the masseuse I guess.
