★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, friendly people. But a clear tourist area, so expect to pay a bit (lot) more, from what I could see the quality seemed okay though. We got shuffled through there as part of a tour, so I guess they're paying for that and that increases the price too. Definitely a safer bet than the walking shops inside Teotihuacan though!

Total tourist trap.
Prices are 3 times what it should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stop was included in our tour of the pyramids. Our experience was fantastic. We were guided by Adriana who asked if we wanted the your in English or Spanish. The process of crafting and cultivating the agave plant was really fascinating. My 4 year old and 1.5 year old really enjoyed taking a peak at the heart of the plant. The obsidian explanation was really cool. The tequila tasting was great and our guide was extra encouraging for any in store purchase. We would return again.
