Just visited in April 2016, had a great time and plan on coming back as soon as posible the hotel has everything you would need and if you wanted to venture into town you can, the dunes on the north end of the beach are amazing, rent a 4 wheeler and ride down or go on a boat tour to the reef off shore, also the surf is pretty good, but you won't find a surfboard anywhere in town

I really liked it hence it has a lot of bad music and they turn it off until 9 pm, so that was a little bit annoying but besides that it has great beds, I really liked everything and it also has a lot of activities like four wheelers tours and more, the WiFi at my room (302) wasn't vey good. It's a great hotel, I recommend it.

not recommendable, everything needs urgent maintenance and is dirty, restaurants have nearly nothing and the quality is not as aspected for what they charge, also very limited choice of drinks ... only a brand beer "Sol" available. Hotel staff without experience and dedication. No working wifi. Never again ... was my 4 stay because of an event in the dunes.

While the overall hotel is OK, local customer service lacks of experience and 0 standard processes. Location is good, remote and far away from everything, great place to rest and relax, just need to be patient as you will need to ask for everything, TV remotes, hand towels, etc. While there is wifi on the lobby if you need wifi or lan in the room, not gonna happen, and cell phone signal will only reach 3g. They do have a business center but mainly no good data coverage. Price is quite high for the service and amenities available, food definitely needs improvement, should have a local cuisine option rather than an international menu with many options but they are out of most.

$2400 sea view room with king bed. No water in room. Tried to buy some in the evening, but the bar had no change. The coke machine was sold out of water. I complained at front desk, they gave us 2 small bottles. Air conditioner didn't work, not repaired. TV didn't work, not repaired. Back door latch/lock didn't work, not repaired. Ocean view jacuzzi didn't work, eventually repaired by 2 workers. Construction workers on the roof of adjacent new construction, directly outside our 2nd floor room. They had a view of us in the jacuzzi, so we had no desire to use the jacuzzi. Very hard bed. $1200 king standard room After repeated complaints they decided to give us another room at 10:30 PM, a king standard for $1200. The cost was half, and they promised to refund the difference to my credit card. Much smaller room, everything worked No beach view. Jacuzzi in the bathtub. The room had a very comfortable bed, got a good night's sleep. I called many times in the following weeks to inquire about the refund to my card. I never received the refund. They eventually stopped answering my calls.

September has a lot of North's called locally "Nortes". It's not a pleasant experience enjoy the beach with a 45 km wind with sand hitting your face

The worst management in the kitchen. From all the menú there were just nuggets and shrimps. I asked the waiteess for dessert, the answer was "no desserts", 5 minutes later a cake arrived to the table next to us(they arrived ayer us)
