Marathon Shoe is Released
1953
ONITSUKA Marathon TABI is released, based on the traditional indoor "tabi" footwear that is still generally worn at sports meets in Japan at the time. The Marathon Tabi is equipped with features required for marathon running, including rubber soles and uppers that feature durable material and a hanging band.
The same year, the TIGER mark MARUP shoe, designed specifically for marathon relay races, is released.
The shoe is suited to the marathon running style, which demands speed and endurance. The shoe is designed to reduce fatigue during long-distance runs. The upper is made from vinylon, a material that is three times stronger than cotton and prevents sweating in the feet, and the shoe includes a heel sponge.
After that, genuine leather MARUP for racing is released in 1958. The shoe features a lightweight rubber sponge sole with dramatically improved flexibility and shock-absorbing properties. The name MARUP stands for Marathon Up shoes. From this point forward, the MARUP series adopts a variety of advanced materials, all the way to the year 1981, when the successor SORTIE series is released.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ropa de deportes de muy buena calidad. Es mi marca favorita de tennis para correr; sin embargo, está EXTREMADAMENTE CARO. No sé si se deba a la plaza (y es que mundo e de por sí es caro, sólo el estacionamiento es un robo), pero la ropa de esta tienda llega a precios desorbitantes. Hay buena variedad, especialmente en prendas que no son calzado, ya que no es tan común ver más que tennis cuando una tienda maneja ASICS. Si tu economía te lo permite, y no te molesta pagar esos precios que yo considero injustos y aspiracionales, es buen lugar. Yo ni aunque ganara mucho compraría ahí. Hay mejores opciones, y si buscas ASICS por la calidad, siempre es mejor en outlets o con otras sucursales más accesibles, Punta Norte por ejemplo. La atención es buena, el único problema, reitero, son los precios.
Very good quality sportswear. It is my favorite brand of tennis to run; however, it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. I do not know if it is due to the square (and the world is expensive in itself, only the parking is a robbery), but the clothes in this store come at exorbitant prices. There is a good variety, especially in garments that are not footwear, since it is not so common to see more than tennis when a store handles ASICS. If your economy allows it, and you don't mind paying those prices that I consider unfair and aspirational, this is a good place. Even if I made a lot of money, I wouldn't buy there. There are better options, and if you are looking for ASICS for quality, it is always better in outlets or with other more accessible branches, Punta Norte for example. The service is good, the only problem, I repeat, are the prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compre varios tenis ascics. El primero de ellos con dos semanas de uso y sin someterlo a correr, se rompió de la talonera. Lo lleve a tienda y no me hicieron cambio inmediato. Mandé un correo y de manera inicial lo respondieron de manera negativa, luego no se que pasó pero cambiaron de opinión y finalmente realizaron el cambio.
El comentario es para la marca: no es posible que a un precio elevado tengan mala calidad sus productos, con este par ya son dos que se rasgan de la tela.
Buy various tennis ascics. The first of them with two weeks of use and without submitting it to running, broke the heel. I took it to the store and they didn't give me an immediate change.
