★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Está muy triste el lugar, por fuera tétrico, por dentro parece prisión, yo no se por que la gente manda a sus padres a un asilo. Si ellos se preocuparon por ti y te mantuvieron, y dan la educación, para que?? Para terminar en esos lugares?? La vida se encargará de hacer justicia!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lleve alimentos y me los quitaron la encargada de cocina cuando los repartí a las personas por que según ella ya habían comido y recogido el lugar y las vi a ellas desayunando con lo que yo lleve las pobres mujeres se quedaron llorando y tristes por que querían lo que yo lleve pésimo trato a las personas que llevamos algo para compartir

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El asilo de ancianos desamparados María Auxiliadora, ubicado en la calle Mexicaltzingo, en Guadalajara, Jalisco, se ha mantenido por más de 103 años gracias a las donaciones esporádicas que reciben, a pesar de ello, constantemente están necesitando comida, productos de aseo personal, medicinas, ropa, entre otros artículos y víveres necesarios para poder atender y darles una vida digna a las adultas mayores que residen ahí.
El asilo es exclusivo para mujeres y por el momento se atienden a 54 de ellas, de las cuales, únicamente cuatro pagan la mensualidad completa, otras cinco aportan una fracción de la mensualidad y el resto, no tiene las posibilidades económicas para pagar por su estancia. Algunas fueron abandonadas por sus familiares y otras se encontraban en situación de calle antes de llegar al asilo.
El asilo fue fundado por dos hermanas hace más de un siglo, con el objetivo de resguardar y proteger a las ancianitas que lo necesitaran, ya fuera por abandono, falta de recursos u otras circunstancias, desde entonces el asilo se ha mantenido de donaciones esporádicas, pues a pesar de cobrar una mensualidad casi simbólica, no es posible mantener a todas las adultas mayores que ahí residen y pagar los salarios de las trabajadoras, tampoco reciben ayuda gubernamental, por lo que, las donaciones en especie o monetarias son siempre necesarias y bien recibidas.

The María Auxiliadora nursing home for the homeless, located on Mexicaltzingo Street, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, has been maintained for more than 103 years thanks to the sporadic donations they receive, despite this, they are constantly in need of food, personal hygiene products, medicines, clothes, among other items and supplies necessary to be able to attend and give a decent life to the elderly who reside there.
The asylum is exclusively for women and at the moment 54 of them are cared for, of which, only four pay the full monthly payment, another five contribute a fraction of the monthly payment and the rest do not have the economic possibilities to pay for their stay . Some were abandoned by their relatives and others were in a street situation before reaching the asylum.
The asylum was founded by two sisters more than a century ago, with the aim of safeguarding and protecting the elderly women who needed it, whether due to abandonment, lack of resources or other circumstances, since then the asylum has been maintained by sporadic donations, Well, despite charging an almost symbolic monthly payment, it is not possible to support all the older adults who live there and pay the salaries of the workers, nor do they receive government aid, therefore, donations in kind or monetary are always necessary and well received.
